Perfect picture!
The power and speed of the horse, the calmness and determination of the young rider. And very high quality of the photo, despite the speed of the movement.
All about initially composing the photo, I might suggest doing it in landscape format and adding more space in front of the horse. IMHO this would add dynamism to the photo. This is just an opinion and nothing more :)

Great shot!
If I were shooting this, I would probably use a polarizing filter. It would reduce the haze a bit and sharpen it a bit. And add a little blue. |

Oliver, nice work!
Final version more times better than original! I support your idea with wires. They are really magnetize the view and direct it to the car.
The colors, the atmosphere of the photo - it all reminds of Stephen King's works. This photo could be a good illustration for some of his books :) |

Great shot!
I think it's a very nimble bird with fast movements and it's very difficult to get a sharp shot of it. This is especially difficult with a 500mm lens.
And, I support the opinion of Oliver about cropping :) |
