Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
65 Feb 26 Comment Great assortment of shapes and textures in this image. As Dick mentioned, I would crop in from the left and would not add a vignette. Feb 13th
65 Feb 26 Comment Very nice composition and colors of the petals, especially for November. I agree that a greater DOF would add to the image, especially for the beautiful light and fluffy snow flakes. Feb 13th
65 Feb 26 Comment To me this is a minimalist composition and also see David's interpretation. I assume the dark streak across the leaves is from the window frame? I am not sure it could be removed in post but think it is a bit distracting. I also think a bit of light from the front (opposite the window) would lighten the shadow of where the leaves overlap, and more importantly, would bring out more of the 'baby' leaf. It tells a nice story! Feb 13th
65 Feb 26 Comment I also like shooting flowers past their prime. Nice shot of details in the petals, barring the one on the lower right as others have mentioned. Instead of taking the shot straight on, I wonder the result if you took the shot from a slight angle, perhaps to the left, with a tighter crop? Feb 13th
65 Feb 26 Comment I really like the composition of this image and think the natural blue cast of the snow provides a better background than pure white. The details in the leaves add to the composition (although they appear slightly out of focus?). I wonder how increasing the texture in the leaves would look. Nice shot! Feb 13th
