Thank you all for your thoughtful feedback-I really appreciate the time and insight. Seeing Isaac's edit helped me realize how much a closer crop and slightly darkened background can strengthen the image's impact. I wish I had access to the original file with camera settings to share more details, but I'm traveling all this month and don't have my full archive with me. That said, I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow through this group-thanks again for helping me see my work with fresh eyes! |

Adrian - this is a perfect example of doing all the right things in post; crop, edits and taking it to mono. Perfection! |

Richard - this is a wonderful example of patience, and paying attention, paying off. Great shot. I am viewing this on my phone, so to see the detail I zoomed in, which made me wonder how this might look with a tighter crop in portrait mode. What do you think? |

Maria - I love this shot (but then, I love bees). I find bees so hard to capture. I agree with Richard that the flowers in the background are a tad distracting, but otherwise you have a good story here is a very busy bee. |

Bruce - fantastic capture! Perfect timing, and the composition is spot on. I am also curious if you were on land, or…? The angle here makes it look like you were right in there with the bear! A great shot indeed! |
