Cindy, Thank you so much for the comment. I was standing in the middle of the road and did not see a car probalby for 15 minutes. The sunstar was an accident, I did not know I had caught one until I looked at the photos. |

Alan, WOW what an image. Just looking at your photo I can feel the wind and spary. The ice on the lighthouse is making me cold. The B & W treatment works very well. You froze the motion and feel of the day very well. |

Very nice image and well done, I love abstracts. One thing I find interesting about this type of photo is they change the appearance and feel when the are rotated. Great image. |

Danielle: Welcome to the group. This is an intresting photo and this location has a ton of potential for a fantastic image. Alan, mentioned the halos by any chance did you have a UV filter on your lens? In the past I have noticed halos similar halos to this when I shot into the sun with a filter on. If I have a filter on I now take it off and that has helped alot with halos. In my case I think the light was reflecting from the lens bouncing to the filter causing the halo. Just a thought. I agree with Craig on the road and that would be ease do. One other thought would be to take a couple steps back so the top of the building would not have been cut off. |

Craig, Taking a photo that is 10 years old and having shot it through glass with the refraction of glass you can get. I think it holds up well. Some of the fish are a little blury but that may have been the shutter speed. The only fisth I might remove would be the purple one. It is always fun to look at old photos it is like reliving the trip again. |

Cindy, You took a nice image. I have to agree with Craig and Roy's comment. I lke the edit Roy did. it does not crowd the subject ad much. |

Thank you so much for your comment. This was was a photo I took when I was at a stop sign on a gravel side road. When I looked to see if there was any traffic I saw this image. Sometimes you get lucky.

Alan, That is a great suggestion. I do not think I had a polarizer with me that day, put a small lens in the bag as I was going out the door. I was looking for birds this day and landscape photos were no on my mind. But I do think a polarizer would have helped . Morrie |

David, Thank you for the suggestion I did not even noitce the tilt on road until you mentioned it. I do think it would improve the photo.
