Craig,
I'm glad you liked the image it. Travel,Photojournalism or Street photography what ever you want to call it is a real challenge in itself. I agree this image is busy with so much going on but that is the way it is in Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City I call it organized chaos. Thank you for the comment. |

Alan, Thank you for the comment. This image was backlighted by the morning sun. The reflection on the bricks was because the store owner has just hosed them down. I am glad you liked the image. |

Hi David, Thanks for the comment and suggestion. You are correct this image was taken on the fly and with this type of photo you one chance at getting the shot. The 5.6 aperture was used in order to get a little more focus depth. Ater you mentioned the signs I can see what you are saying and the blur tool in LR might be something for me to try. |

Josh, Thank you so much for the comment. This is street photography in Vietnam and if you have never been to Saigon or Vietnam in general it is one busy place. I had wondered if it was too busy but I like the chaos of this scene. I think it shows how the country is. |

My wife and I took this trip in Septerber of this year which was fun. I would have loved to have been able to get a photo like this. The compostion, the angle of the train and the steam all work very well. I think the image might pop a little more if you added a little more contrast or maybe use the dehaze slider in LR to to add the contrast. I like Craig's suggestion but maybe use a linear gradent in LR to make the adjustment. |

I am a sucker for B & W and this one is quite interesting. I had no idea what I was looking at until I read the diion. Alan made a great point in the lower leaf and maybe photostacking. If the complete lower leaf was in the frame I think it would balance the photo better. |

I am looking at this photo and it makes me want to put a coat on. You really captured the mood of the weather and the night well. I do not mind the reflections on the window it gives you the feel you are inside and watching the weather. I do find the one sign on the building to be bright. It would be nice if this could be toned down a little. I agree with Craig that lowing the exposure and increasing the contrast would make the photo pop a little more. |

Cindy, This is a super sharp image. I like the angle of the image Th out of focus background works very well and mentioned you might try to lighten up the underside of the bee a little. Over all a nice image.
