49 Aug 25 Comment I agree with the comments by both Craig an Josh. I wonder if in lighroom if you picked the subject and increased the shadows a tad if it would give the egret a little more pop. This is something you would not want to overdue for it might blow out the highlights on its back. The other issue you might loose the soft suttle feel of the image by making these adjustments. 49 Aug 25 Comment Josh,
Thank you so much for your comment. It was a fun project and I took a ton of photo and only got a few that I likes trying different backgrounds and mixing at the same time.

49 Aug 25 Reply Stephen, Thank yo for the comment. I was not able to get the out of foucs are sharp. This might have been due to a couple of reasons. The lens not parallel to the oil and water or it might have been that way in the background I was using. I do wish I had a lens like an f 2.8 or f 1.8 to take this type of photos. It would be easier to eliminate the imperfections in the class container. As far as immiscible liquids there are many. Oil and water, gas and water, corn syrup and vegetable oil, wax and water. Any type of fluid that will not mix with each other are immiscible. Aug 16th

Thank you so much for the comment. The background and the lighting were the key for the shading and color.
