Thanks Jean. I also prefer the first but a lot of comments from various folks was for me to give the people a stronger shape and more contrast. |

I like the vignette suggestion by Ed as my eye keeps getting drawn to the path on the curved left. Otherwise I love the moment you successfully captured.

Based on your comments and some from other photographers I made some changes - lightened, sharpened, increased contrast of people, and removed part of the tree on the left. |

I have never quite understood the draw to star trails but I know they are popular and take a lot of effort which is very evident in your image - great job. I really like the right hand trails - the closeness and colors of the trails. Everything in the image specially the barn are spot on - like that you removed the lights and home. |

Beautiful scene and image. Love how the water flows to the center. The aspens in the center middle are a bit too bright but the ones on the left and in the back look great. |

Beautiful fall colors. I know reflections in water can be brighter than the main subject but it seems a bit over saturated or too bright since it appears no direct sunlight on the water. |

WOW! Great capture. It might just be my monitor but are the hands slightly more in focus than the faces - could a tiny bit of contrast be added to the faces. Great image.

Really enjoy this image due to the atmosphere you've created with the color, crop and contrast. If you lighten the lower right side a little (but not much) it might show a bit more detail in the shadow (again, not much). |
