Interesting. Good job of combining images to get a scene that you want. The orange behind the person's shoulder distracts my eye a bit. |

I like the cropping as it makes the flowers and statue more prominent. In your revision the statue still kind of blends into the clouds but the flowers look realistic. Keep the people in the image as it gives a sense of proportion and is reality. |

I really like how you processed this. What is the dark spot on the tree? While my eye was being drawn to the sun burst it landed on that spot and then I couldn't unsee it. The enhanced light on the ground works as I can see more detail in the background and the tree. |

Love thistles! This is a great capture of them. I do like the gray background better than the stark white. |

Nice work. I agree that it is better as black and white. I agree with Robert that the sky is too noisy even though I like the cloud action the noise is distracting. Since you removed the cars did you think about removing other things - sign, white in back right? |

I had my comments all set to go and then read everyone else's - which I agree with. My only remaining comment is that I would prefer to see more of the reflection and less of the tress at the top. Also, the people are too posed looking at you, maybe next time have a couple looking sideways? |

Due to the time of year I was there they had cut or pulled most of the garden for the end of season. The bushes shown were about the only thing not dirt. So next spring I need to go back when there is something interesting in the garden.
I think I have more of the bottom and left of the scene. My original thought was that that area overpowered the scene but will take another look at it. It probably doesn't need much though. |
