Well my panning ability did not improve during the month so I worked on the image a bit more. I think if I need to keep practicing and maybe one day I'll get it but for now - no.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. Can't say as I am getting better but maybe after a few more months I may be there. I'll keep at it.

I like your orientation with the flower head pointing to the left. If you increase the saturation in the center only slightly as this looks like a real dahlia. |

I agree with the others that the cliff area seem out of sync with the sky, maybe modify their color a bit with orange to match the sky. |

It may be my screen but it looks slightly over sharp in the center. Since the others really like this it must be my screen. Composition is great. |

This made me smile! Wasn't sure what I was looking at but those eyes are fantastic! If you can bring them out a bit more that might help me - also the colors on their skin. |

Interesting photo. I am having a hard time determining what the main focus is of this image - the sculpture or the woman in red? I do find the woman to be distracting even though she does provide scale for the artwork. Also, is she in sharp focus? Love the cloud treatment. |

Really great treatment! Love the image. Have you thought about reducing the brightness on the white oval on left center? Love the blurring and agree with Ed about blurring the background through some of the escalator glass (only a few as they stand out more than the others). Good job! |

I've been practicing - this is very difficult to do! I wish this subject wasn't included in the PSA course I'm taking. However, I will get this done for the assignment but not sure I will ever do it again. Where I live there isn't a lot of interesting things for this exercise at this time. However, I did go to the Greenbelt area where there are a lot of recreational bike riders for me to practice. I won't take photos of children and even some of the adults gave me stern looks when they noticed what I was doing.
I'll keep working on this style of photography.
