Also a photographer? I'm not surprised, as it seemed like everyone on the island was up there after sunset. :-) Conditions were great, and I feel very lucky and grateful. |

I like the color version, but I agree that the chair should be vertical. |

I love the peaceful feeling of this photo. I wish there was a little more to image at the very bottom. Someday I'll get to Iceland…. :-) |

Great capture! The jets coming towards the viewer and the smoke trails work great. I really like the crop. My only suggestion is that it looks like you went a little overboard on either clarity or sharpening. |

Walter, your image makes an excellent point about climate change. I really like the contrast between the newer buildings at the top and the older buildings at the bottom of the image. This image makes me ask questions, which I think is a good thing. Where is this? I gather from your bio that this is Singapore. Why all of the wall units on just the one building? Why not one larger unit? The cloudy conditions make for more saturated colors, which works well for me. I would suggest cropping a little bit off the top of the image, as the white sky and tall building in the upper left distract my eye from the main subject, which is the older building below. |

An eye-catching image to be sure. The saturated complementary colors and lighting show off this voluptuous model very well. I really like her hand position. I don't think the dead tree adds anything to the image. I would be tempted to use the remove tool in Photoshop and crop in a little tighter (too much dead space at the top of the frame.). Also the horizon is slightly tilted counterclockwise, as you can see by looking at the ocean. |
