How awesome to get to take a Fall Colors workshop in Vermont! This is just beautiful and a bit unexpected to see the Adirondack chairs overlooking the mist rising from the water. Nicely done! |

Laurie, this is a gorgeous image that tells a story and piques the imagination. I visited Croatia many, many years ago and clearly there is more development now. Your image has me longing to go back, but I doubt if I ever will get the chance, so I really appreciate your share.
I tried using the Perspective Warp in Photoshop to straighten the tower and buildings on the right side of the image. |

Very beautiful scene and nicely captured. Your POV from where the river bends really creates a wonderful leading line into the Monastery. I would be tempted to crop the lower right a bit to emphasize the shape of the river bend and draw the eye more into the Monastery. While the foliage is colorful there, it also is a bit distracting from the subject. |
