Thank you for the additional information. It sounds like a fascinating place! Since you didn't have to use all of your zoom, the animals must not be too aggressive? |

Loons strike me as mysterious for some reason and the capture of one in fog adds to that feeling. Then to get the perfect timing in your shot where he stretches.. amazing skill and good fortune. |

You have described a great many aspects of this annual ritual and they all sound like fabulous opportunities to share photos. I can't imagine participation in the 21-day walk; that would obviously require disengaging from normal routines.
I would love to see the application of the dust raised by the sacred horse's hooves. It's hard for me to visualize it.
What you have shared looks powerful and joyful. I especially love the musical instruments. |

This is a truly great shot Kathleen! It is a treat to see the young bluebirds and cardinal; a real lesson in the way their color develops as they get more mature. I love your mealworm dish. It makes the scene look quite festive. You captured the interactions quite well. What fun! |

I was not familiar with this animal, so this was a great learning experience for me. It looks like there was also a good collection of waterbirds in the area, which adds interest and provides scale.
I like your focus on the reflections in processing and the vignette really directs the eye to the Nilgais.
Your settings look good.. at what mm were you shooting?
Thanks for sharing! |
