Clark, for me, there are too many lines in the upper part of the photograph, and they compete with each other, which distracts the viewer and makes it unclear where the eye is supposed to rest. However, I do like the lower part of the composition with the lone passerby, it gives the photograph a certain mood. As for the black and white conversion, I would possibly lower the brightness of the whites and shift them a bit closer to gray, maybe that would help reduce the heaviness in the upper part of the image. |

The main goal of photography is to evoke emotions - and when I look at this particular photograph, it feels like it takes me back to my childhood, to the times when I used to travel with my grandparents. It brings an incredible sense of nostalgia. Thank you for stirring these feelings. I wouldn't change anything about this photo. |

Michael, this is an amazing composition, I really like the lines and the contrast between light and dark. The only thing that was a bit distracting were the small clouds in the lower left corner, they drew my attention away. But overall, I really like this photo. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! |
