Thank you for your comments, friends; they are most welcome and appreciated.
I understand your point, and obviously, I "pushed" the image too far. The intent was/is to use contrast to show the differences. The smiling troubador, scrambling to survive, and the anonymous/faceless wealth going by. |

I like the strip layout, except that you show a distraction -the third image (left to right). Personally, I would zoom in or remove the person walking by. I would also change the title from "...working from Starbucks." to "...working."
I like the idea and story. |

Hi Trey, I somewhat agree with the comments posted. All said, the image and text are intriguing on their own and piqued my curiosity. Using different coloured pens, highlight each word, ask the viewer to focus on each word, and what they mean.
The masks hide identity, but pose the question of why these particular masks; is there a meaning attached?
I wonder if cropping the pair full-length and including their shadows would change the dynamics and image impact. Interesting work and story, Trey. |

Interesting layering, Marevi. You selected a frame that shows history, status and tradition. In addition, a barrier isolates history from the other elements, as if history is protected.
I appreciate the image quality and detail. Well done.

The encounter by chance. A good story and portrait of a distinguished gentleman, a visitor from another time (that is my story).
The setting and the gentleman become in sync. His presence and firm but welcoming eye contact are a greeting offered to you and your camera.
I appreciate the subject's subtle isolation, the framing and peripheral information. Good technique and interesting work. |
