56 Nov 25 Reply Thank you, Martin. You are correct, the street becomes more interesting and giving when we slow down. I used to belong to the guilty group that would pass by, searching in a hurry and forgetting to look. Night street photography helped me return to the "slowing down" mood. The cart was not that colourful, and I don't know where I put the colour version. Nov 18th
56 Nov 25 Reply Thank you, Marevi. I considered cropping or blurring the background, but realized (that for me) it's part of the story. Nov 18th
56 Nov 25 Reply Thank you, Armen. You are right, one can see almost anything being sold on some wheels. In fact, in Indonesia, seamsters are sewing what is needed with a "Singer" and cobblers are repairing shoes on wheels. Nov 18th
56 Nov 25 Reply Thank you, Gerhard, for a great comment. There is no colour version; I don't know what I did with it. Nov 18th
56 Nov 25 Comment A well balanced documentary image showing a clip of life at Santa Monica Pier. People are experiencing the site and interacting. Good work. Nov 18th
56 Nov 25 Comment An impact image, showing a personal struggle. The tilted image hints that all is not well. The subject expression, posture and holding the companion tight is highly emotional. I agree with Gerhard that the message would complete the image and its mood, but by showing a portion of the message leaves the viewer wondering and intrigued. Good work. Nov 17th
56 Nov 25 Comment Totally in sync, 1-2, 1-2, there they go. Great image. Nov 11th
56 Nov 25 Comment As you mentioned, a frame was there for the taking. You viewed the scene perfectly and got a good result. I like the curved leading lines, the image colours, except for the sky and the texture. Good work.
P.S., too bad the street was not less busy.

56 Nov 25 Comment Well-selected point of view and angle, it creates this vertice, where eyes converge to the principal subject, the singing dog. Good eye, story and good image. Nov 11th
56 Nov 25 Comment I prefer the B&W version. I find the visual composition and the play between lines interesting. The image's definition, contrast and texture work well. Well done. Nov 11th
