You are right, the final say is with the artist. However, the best part of this group is hearing all the different reactions and seeing all the different possibilites. |

I appreciate, understand and respect your point of view. For me, lightening the faces draws the viewer in. I am not overly concerned with the optics. The faces could be being illuminated by a light on the booth. I used the dodge tool to brighten the white sweaters and arms to lead the eye to the boy and his purchase. I may have overdone it. |

Welcome back. I like the color and lady flying with joy. I find the empty sky distracting so I cropped it rom the top and some from the sides as well. I also brightend the subject. These are just my suggestions. I enjoy your creativity and hope that you will give me some feedback on my images. |

I like the story. I agree with Marge. I think the original has more drama. I cropped, flipped it horizontally, used a curves adjustment, and did some dodging and increased the saturation. |

This is a street photo. In most competions only a curves adjustment and cropping are allowed. In this group I look for feedback that forces me to think about what I have done and could do differently. For me, photography is an art form and a vehicle for the artist(photographer) to share their experience and point of view. My intent with my edits is to share some of my methods of working with the image. The artist may or may not choose them. I like having someone take my photo and do something with it that I didn't see or consider. |

I also tried it in BW. I had to darken the blues. |

I see the boat moving towards the left side so that as one looks they see the boat coming towards them instead of moving away. But that is my preference. It is of course up to the artist/photographer to make the final choice. |

I think that you have done a great job of stitiching togheter this panorama and created a fine composition with a foregroundm, middle and backround. For me, it is a bit flat and could use a bit more contrast< I used curves, increased the saturation and did some dodging and burning. |

i think this is a nice story telling street photo. I cropped it and brightend up their faces, darkened the background and toned down the brught areas. I also flipped it horizontally |
