It was a photographer, Muybridge, who proved that at a gallop all of a horses hoofs are off the ground |

I like the fact that all the hoofs are off the ground and the detail in the subject. I agree with Regine. I think that you could use more space in the front, crop more tightly and add the rest of the tail. I blurred and darkened the background, brightened the shadows and used Topaz Clarity to increase the contrast and saturation. |

I like the light and the fog and how there is a path leading through the forest to the light. I tried cropping to the path and used Topaz Glow to make it even more mysterious and ominous. |

I think you captured the feeling of a fall scene and I like the stone church. For me, the greens are over saturated. I brought our more detail and structure with Nik Viveza, cropped and flipped it, used dodging and burning and a curves adjustment to give it a more rustic and rough look. |

That is true for many but not all PSA competitions. Most of the club competitions that I have judged included a title. It does influence my judging. I like the guidance of a title since it gives me a clue as to their intention otherwise I am just using my subjective opinion. I think the major professional photography competition like the Spyder Awards, Black and White Magazine and the International Color Awards use the title. If you exhibit in a gallery or art show they usually require a title. It is the dialogue that makes the world go round> I appreciate and understand your perspective. |

You raise an interesting issue. Most competitions and exhibits require at title. I think a provocative title provokes a response from the viewer and gets them to react to the image instead of just passing it by. I do want a response to my work. |

Sunandan your input is important. I look forward to getting your feedback. I learn more from people who can explain what they don't like or get about my images than those who just say they are great. |

Kudos on your crop and processing. I like this story of family and friends, I cropped it more and darkened the background to draw more attention to the great story and subjects. |

I think it is well seen and processed. I like how you have used the vanishing point and diminishing perspective to control the viewer. I agree with Kurtis that there are many ways to take this photo. I tried a tighter crop as another approach to the image. |

I think this is well seen and well composed with diagonals and a diminishing perspective. I think the color palliate works and the lady in red is an effective hook.
I am hoping to get your feedback on our images. |
