I agree that this is a super capture and nice composition. I cropped it, toned down the greens and darkened the highlights. |

Welcome to the group.
I think this image has great detail, is well exposed and has nice color. Since it is an old locomotive, I think that a sepia tone might have more impact. I also tried flipping it horizontally. |

I think that you have effectively captured an different but effective aspect of Venice. I can almost smell the salt water. I agree with Larry about the busy feeling. I also made a crop and toned down some of the saturation and brought out more structure. |

I like the symmetry and it reminds me of a sentinel standing watch. I think that bringing out more detail and increasing the saturation and warmth would give if more impact. |

This is a photo of a reflection on the sculpture, #4 Sphere Within Sphere …or to use the Italian, Sfera con Sfera by Arnaldo Pomodoro. https://www.tcd.ie/library/berkeley/4-sphere-within-sphere/. The jagged edges are part of the structure. For me, he is making a statement about the nature of reality based on Plato's allegory of the cave. My image is my statement about how all photographs are photographers subjective (jagged edges and all) interpretation of a moment of reality. |
