For me, lighting and the lovely pillars and the curving balustrade are the subject. I think that bringing out a bit more detail, cropping from the left and blurring area to the right of the pillars would make it a stronger image. You might also try flipping it horizontally. |

I think this tells a story and I like the composition. I increased the contrast and created more of a silhouette which for me, increases the drama and impact. But that is my taste. |

Another well crafted and creative composition. I like how you see things. For me, I would have liked you to move a bit more to the left so that the glass was on the third and there would be a bit less empty space between it and the structures on the right. |

Wow and wow. I want to be with you when you capture these great moments. You do know how to use a photo to tell the story. I think that you could darken it a bit and crop a little from the right and bottom. |

I agree with Marge that you have captured the majesty and sharpness. I feel the cold. I increased the contrast, used Viveza to bring out a bit more detail and Color Effects Graduated Neutral density filter to darken the sky and foreground. I think that increases the impact a bit. |

I think this is lovely portrait with nice detail and composition. For me, bringing out a bit more detail and color in the subject, darkening some of the brighter areas in the background and the rocks and flipping it horizontally would increase the impact. |

Thanks for your comments Marge, so which figure would you remove? I am attaching the color version. |
