99 Feb 26 Reply Thank you Peter for your suggestion to dodge part of the girl's costume. I think that will be a good improvement. Feb 19th
99 Feb 26 Comment Such a beautiful composition. Because you framed it in portrait mode, and because of the leading line of stacked flowers my eyes are immediately traveling on a rewarding visual journey upward through the blooms and to the butterfly. It is a great anchor. The butterfly also adds life and a story. Lovely. The textured background treatment works wonderfully, giving the image an artistic, almost vintage quality. Feb 3rd
99 Feb 26 Comment You were either extremely lucky, or you waited patiently for that person to step right into your picture and stand there in exactly the right place. The lone figure provides both human interest and scale, transforming your image from pure landscape into a narrative about solitude and exploration. Having said that, we still see a fascinating landscape that captures the sublime scale of the desert terrain. Beautiful nature, lovely textures, depth and storytelling. And yes, I enjoy your image a lot. Feb 3rd
99 Feb 26 Comment A wonderfully atmospheric image that feels peaceful yet slightly melancholic. The textured, cloudy sky and visible full moon add depth and mood. I love silhouettes and it is a great composition with perfect use of negative space and balanced elements across the frame. Lovely. Absolutely lovely. I only wish that I had made it. Feb 3rd
99 Feb 26 Comment Your street photograph makes me feel like I was there, standing among the people to the left, getting wet in the rain. I think the rear perspective makes it so alive and authentic. The rain and the wet pavement add atmosphere, tonality and texture. I would have wished that your photo was bigger in size - I fail to enlarge it. My lack of technical skills combined with bad eyesight... But I can still see the tug-of-war going on at the right-hand side of the frame. It is a very nice image of a close knit community that come together to participate in street festivities despite the rain and bad weather. I like it a lot. Feb 3rd
99 Feb 26 Comment Such a beautiful view of the snowy tree below your window. Your perspective from above creates depth and dynamic interest, with the tree's snowy branches forming beautiful patterns against the darker background. I like that you placed the tree in the center, so my eyes automatically wander through those snowy branches. Very nicely done. I can feel the cold air. Feb 3rd
