The square format has placed the subject on a third, which has helped the composition. Brightening the dark area behind the bird has also helped. Nice shot. |

Great sharp shot of the squirrel. I think the reflection would have to be closer to the animal to make a really good refection image (there is too much foliage between the animal & the water). The cropped image is pin sharp & makes good use of the depth of field. |

I agree with Ger, there is a lot to take in with this image and Ger's crop has (I think) helped. The long line of red in the distance (in the original shot) takes the focus away from the bird. |

I think the crop has helped a lot, as the original has too many distractions in the lower part of the image. I agree some passengers would have helped the image - but you have what you have. The adjustments you made have worked fine. |
