I like the textures of both the flower and the paper. The mono conversion of a usually colorful image is effective in this image. |

The leading lines take me into the image. The combination of the grainy overall effect, the single figure, and the blurred, misty atmosphere creates a sense of a cold, lonely atmosphere. |

The image certainly tells a story from a unique viewpoint. I think the partial view of the woman and the blurred but clear enough view of her admirer effectively convey the story. |

I agree with prior comments. The image is too busy with the light pole and sign being too prominent in the image. I want to crop the costumed people into a single portrait image. |

I especially like the back lighting and the reflection of the vase. Back lighting and rim lighting are some of my favorite light sources for specific subjects. |
