Looks great, Raymond. Immersive, feels cold to look at, so for sure a response when you look at it.
If theres any comment it would be around the background consistency bottom left, since it switches from the top approach. Not sure if that is desired effect of clarity/denoise/texture or other artifacts such as a heal/remove tool effect or maybe desired layering. :) |

Hi there Mo, I too have this lense and its the best for macro, hands down versus any I have tried on the Z-Bodies. I'm interested in HDR because I am learning how and when to use it. Transparently, my appreciation for the subgenres is not mature enough to comment on the technical application, and its a pretty and appealing stylized lily. My only one comment is that the lily behind keeps distracting me when I look at composition. I certainly am not suggesting removing it but maybe its prominence can be balanced off to reflect its position in some way, shadowing/luminoscity etc. Whatever you prefer. Lovely Lily |

Hi Murphy. Was wondering if you were referring to Washington State? Wherever it is those clumps of flowers and the handmade fence are interesting. I find my eye not necessarily drawn to one thing but darting all over un sure what to take in first. I can see the thirds, horizontal and vertical, and the f16 captures it all crisply. The greens and yellow differentiate to the eye but i am losing the important fence and wonder if taking that a little darker might provide the necessary hook? Dont get me wrong, very pretty indeed. |

Very appealing capture of this Bird of Paradise in full bloom. The Hot Houses are a crazy place arent they? Murphy mentioned the F stop. Thats a lesson I learned too to ensure depth of field, but appreciate not always convenient to get a tripod down without inconveniencing others in the hothouses.
The luminosity of the orange and purple, is already good in the original, once its background is removed the eye sees that contrast differently when you remove green in background. A little differentiation on the purple could really make this pop. Vibrance and saturation tools wont help since these two colors peak at different rates so this is where the color spot mixer comes in handy to isolate the colors you want to play with then move them to your liking across tone, Saturation and luminosity. The mixer lets you play without impacting any other colors in the composition. Lightroom or Camera raw both feature these color mixers which I have no doubt you are already familiar with. :) |
