Very dramatic! Nice lighting on the people in the foreground. And I like the soft focus and dwindling light on the folks in the background. The fire looks like a bit too much definition was applied. Nice composition and arresting photo! |

Lovely image Peter. I especially like it that the water drips include reflections. Nice composition and treatment of depth of field. The bright yellow takes center stage and grabs the eye. You enhanced this effect with the black background. The details of the moisture on the flower helps create a 3D effect and pleases the eye. |

Nice composition & color contrast Ricarda! Beautiful! It's amazing what kind of images our cell phones are now capable of! The largest flower captures the eye and it is sharply defined. Very nice! Perhaps the green could be toned down a bit so that there are less competing elements. And the eye knows where to go. |

Joseph, I always love these images of the huge sunflowers. I have never photographed them, but I would love to. I like your inclusion of middle ground and background as contrast to the field of flowers. And the warm colors in the sky & cityscape also provide a nice contrast. I'm wondering if possibly a little less definition in the sunflowers might be desirable. |

The abstraction in the image definitely seems intentional. To me, it brings to mind the leaves of a camera's shutter. The abstraction has a minimalistic quality but the color warms up the image. Nice contrast. So perhaps... a name more fitting of the abstraction would be interesting. Nice composition and contrast & treatment of depth of field. |

Very arresting image! The effects of the explosions are amplified by having the bystanders included basically as silhouettes for both contrast and scale. Reflections and color contrast also add to the effect. Very cool! I guess I should say HOT! |
