Bob, yes I agree. I was in a hurry and didn't put enough thought into the title. I like Ricarda's title, "Time Witnessed." Another might be "Metamorphosis." Thank you for your feedback. |

Joseph, thank you for your considered reply. Leading line... As I remember, there was no road leading to the building. But I like the idea of it. I took this photo from an angle looking towards the roof. Not sure I could get the roof the same way if I was able to get a road leading to the building. But there might have been something else I could have used. I agree that there is no internal flow.

I like the composition of this photo very much. The "pods" all seem to lead one's eye toward the front pod. Additionally, the smaller leaves at the bottom seem to frame the same front pod. I feel a sense of motion from the movement of the water which I think adds interest to the image. The colors are cool and refreshing with nice contrast. |

Striking image of this bird! You caught him at the perfect moment when his wings are extended and show the beautiful pattern and various tones of blue.The image is sharp but perhaps it could be just a bit sharper for maximum effect. The lens choice is perfect for keeping the bird in focus and the background blurred. |

Very interesting shot....makes me want to learn more about this fellow. His clothing stands out against the black background, which makes for great contrast in the image. Great detail! I too am confused about what is happening in front of him. |

This is a gorgeous scene with the field of poppies at the Golden Hour. Great technique of taking the shot as low as possible to avoid the green field. I hope I think to do it myself next time I take a wildflower shot. I was wondering if a bit more contrast in the field might add additional depth to the photo. It appears that you used a little vignetting at the corners that draws the eye towards the sun/focal point. Lovely image. |

The image is very arresting with the sharp focus and brilliant red color of the cherries. And the arrangement of the bananas creates lines that draw the eye to the centrally located cherries. The yellow color and blurred focus of the bananas gives a lovely contrast to the sharpness and color of the cherries. I think this is a very effective still life. I found myself wanting to have a little cherry snack! |
