Steve - this is definitely eye candy. I also like Bob's version for its more soothing quality. I find it remarkable how the bee photo was altered in MirrorLab to yield the symmetrical, view from above, bee in the composition. |

Frans, I agree with Jan and Bob. This image is clearly well put together, but it is the eyes of Medusa that throws me off. If you had placed her on the right side of the composite image and flipped her horizontally - might that have conveyed more of the sense that she is looking at and admiring her nefarious handiwork - instead of looking at the camera? |

Hi Bob....I'm right with you about taking note and photographing seemingly insignificant things. In this case I guess it was the superimposition of the plant over the wrought iron(?)that caught your eye. This piece reminds me of cat scan cross sections of the brain (of an alien, of course!) I like the simplicity of your process in creating this image. |
