Hi everyone, I'm Richard Camp and just joined the group. It's exciting to see what others are shooting. To echo Frank's comment, Janet has a great example of frame within a frame composition. My other suggestion is consider adding a bit of vignette to darken the framing rocks. The effect is draws the eye to the water, birds and light house landscape beyond. Regarding the sky and water blend, evaluate that question by looking at the luminance difference between sky and what is reflected in the water, then strive for a naturalistic result. I believe you achieved that balance with the water slightly darker than the sky. Very nice work! |
