Thanks for the critiques and understand all of your points of view. But on my side of the camera, the reasons for the shot being submitted taken at sunrise over Tampa Bay on a warm humid day was simple in my mind. Showing the Pier at sun rise with no manmade illumination, no people, lack of a bus or bicycle, lack of detail in the building was to announce the start of a new day. My perspective and is not intended to disagree with your comments which I will use in the future.

Good catch getting the bird still and in good lighting. The feathers on the back and head have a wax coating but this may be the natural apparence so take my comment with a grain of salt.

Youngsters are a great subject to catch off guard. Your close up with no distractions gives my mind freedom to think what is being said. Is the passenger telling a story, telling the driver to slow down etc. Cropping removes some distractions and helps the viewer to focus on two children chattering away in their own world. Thanks for the submission.
