I apologize for the late comments. Lovely photo with vibrant colors, very sharp detail in the main subject and out of focus back ground, no distractions and holds my attention. Thanks for the submission. |

Great imagination and execution. Subject matter is good and props very realistic and tied together. The upper left area is missing complimentary stimulus. The our of focus white item pulls my eye to identify it origin and away form the lower and right very interesting main content. Heavy blurring of the background and moving the objects to front of the tall steamer on a oblong table may help balance toe composition. Food for thought. |

Subject matter in the top energizes the imagination as it resembles a Barn Owl. Good detail, good shadows and very sharp. The bottom left area is over blown. The very light bottom of the flower is very distracting as it is glaring white.
Make all the background out of focus and make the light areas of the plant in shadows fading to black by the bottom edge of the photo. Would take a lot of work. |

Good choice of subject matter and hard to crop with out having lines or a post running off of the photo and being distracting. One thought is to make the photo wider, include the foot of the left post and include the right post on the right end of the photos. (If a post was on the right ind of the line.)
Good effort.

Initial impression is the general subject of a winter scene in the last weeks of winter. Agree with the comments on color and over all composition as the eye tends to wander from one area to the next with out a place to land. Maybe a higher vantage point, reduce the amount of sky by 20% of attention without being in the center of the photo. Minor cropping on the right and bottom would strengthen the composition and make the house more of the center of attention without being in the middle of the photo. The winter weeds and nude trees bring back fond memories. |

Thanks and will try again next month with some variations.
Any techniques to answer the over blown comment. I have tried to reduce the exposure, whites, increase darkness in the surrounding areas with so-so results Looking forward to your help. |

Lovely subject and composition. Background nicely out of focus but adds to the composition and overall affect. Good imagination and technique. Tom C |
