You picked a very different perspective and it turned out very nicely. No distractions, photo is tack sharp and your leading lines are unique . All suggestions and thought I would add mine. The vent has been cloned out, the floor has been darkened to mask the wet spot and the trees have been saturated a bit. The photo loosed something with my suggestion. Nice photo. |

Great photo. You jave a photo with very sharp detail, good impactand no distractions. It captures the imagination of our care from a time when the hood ornament was a piece of art. |

Thanks for the suggestions which I will try next time. The panning suggestion is one I have not tried and will use it in the future. Getting the backgound blurred will work nicely. Saw a training suggestion on panning and photographing moving traffic should sharpen my pictures. Thanks. |

Good question on the blurr effect. It does add impact to the photo. I struggle to get the speed, Iso and f stop in balancd.. Good blurr results in a shot that is not tack sharp, and tak sharp gets a higher speed and no blur. I try to stay in the 400 640 range for ISO and less than 1/500 th of a sec speed. My camera also develops noise above an ISO of 400. More practice or a newer camera are in my future. |

The statue is a symbol for the close of WWll and hopefully ushering in a new era. The current generation is protesting their greviences and the impact is short changed by reducing tjeir size in relation to the statue.. Back up and show the current generation with all of their passion. Include the protesters entire body if possible. shoot from a lower angle and make them as large asl possible .This may strengthen thed photos impact.
Think about decreasing the exposure , adding a little contrast and seeing if adjusting the shadows and dark sliders to see if it increase the impact. Food for thought. Good eye for news worthy photo.

Afternoon. Robert is right regarding the bench. However, the image is interesting in that the dorway represents a keyhole to the life inside the home. The image asks the viewer to speculat on the who, why ,etc and for me keeps my attention until I realize that what I see is all I am foing to get.

Nice results with your experimentation. The center of the photo is in focus with a halo of out of focus apricots to keep the eye on the center of the photo. The green barbs in the bottom right hand corner serve to keep the eyes from wondering and adds a challange to the fruit if it moves out of line.
Upper left corner is a little distractingand and removing it would remove the urge to spend time on the red object..

Great composition showing the city and historic areas that are not seen with this perspective. Sharp throughout , the iconic bridge is front and center.
The sky is and the town color is shifted for my taste. I tried to add some dark blue and eased up on the yellow. There should be an adjusted photo attached if I did not punch the wrong button.
Very nice job. |
