I agree with all of Diana's comments, Rita, including the title.
You did a great job lighting the image and bringing out the colors and details such as the tattoos. His bent finger adds to the interest. I find myself wondering about him and his background + lifestyle.
A different background color would be beneficial. Great job-it should do well in your "People" category. Good luck! |

The color enhancements work to make this look warmer, Karen. I wonder if the temp slider could be moved to the right a tad to get a bit more warmth.
The composition, like Dean's, keep the eye moving around the image.
LR did a great job of stitching the images together.

Nice moody image, Diana! I have been there at sunset and love the colors. I did not get the shot, though.
I think your edits were spot on. I have no suggestions. Your editing work is ompressive. |

I applaud your use of phone camera, Dean. It does give you a different perspective and certainly more easily carried around. I met with some camera club members last evening and we discussed phone images and the phone's ability in low light. We then watched a photographer's presentation of his trip to the Falklands. Several images were taken with his iPhone and were outstanding. We see more and more photographers using their phones.
I like the composition here with the foreground and tree trunk leading the eye through the image. |
