Wonderful image, Kathleen. Well exposed with wonderful color. The eyes are sharp. There looking at each other tells a nice story. Capturing them on a diagonal adds to the impact. |

Laurie, this is a wonderful image. I love the low angle and the blue tones in the ice contrasting with the warm yellow of the rising sun. I wonder if a 19:9 aspect ratio to give a more panoramic feel might be considered? I felt emotionally drawn to this image - looking at the foreground made me feel cold and I wanted to move closer to the bride and the warmth of the sun. When you can evoke emotion, you have a successful image. |

The subject is well exposed and sharp throughout with a nicely blurry background with muted color which contrast nicely with the flowers. Nicely done. My only criticism is the business of the scene. Would it have been possible to isolate a single flower to simplify the image? |
