Hi Bruce - I've seen Ruddy Ducks before, but never this close. Such a treat to see the contrast in colors from the blue bill to the reddish body feathers! Great look at a Ruddy Duck! |

Well Karen, Sony agrees with you and my Aii is now upgraded to version 4 of the software. Feeling somewhat chagrinned, but that firmware upgrade does seem to have solved the problem. |

Hi Maria - Another stunning macro photo! I agree with Karen that there is nothing to improve on in your original. But there's also always room to "play around" and I wondered how your image would look more zoomed in and with more light. The butterfly's eye is so interesting, I wondered how that would look closer up with more light. A rough edit (in Apple photos - no masking) along those lines is here for your consideration. |

Hi Karen - Once again I learned something: didn't know that butterflies had a symbiotic relationship with turtles - amazing! Fantastic to see the butterfly in proximity to this turtle, and are those flies on the turtle's back? Agree with the observation about darkening the back of the turtle's back, but fantastic photo. |

Hi Maria - Great image and you're so lucky to have more than a few seconds with a subject like this hawk! I wonder if a step to the left might have put more of the green background behind the hawk. |

Isaac - Fantastic photos and so lucky to see Grizzly mom and cubs feeding. I made a quick crop of the "Original," focussing on just the two cubs, which I also like. |
