Hi Adrian - My one photo of a Gannet was taken in the middle of a storm - think high winds and heavy rain - when the winds blew some Northern Gannets much closer to shore than they would ordinarily come. Looks like your photo was taken in much more pleasant conditions. I prefer your original crop, seeing the sliver of ground as you point out to provide context. Was the bird in-flight bringing in nesting material? |

Hi Maria - Wow, what a wonderful moment to capture. I don't think I've ever seen a tug of war between two birds. Great moment very nicely captured! |

Hi Karen - Wow, 4.5 months is a long trip. Enjoy! Love the eyes in this Howler Monkey. Very nice exposure. |

Hi Maria - Well you taught me something. Looking at your image, I couldn't find traces of a spider web. I Googled crab spiders and learned that they can catch bees without webs using camouflage and strong front legs. Fascinating! Great photo! |

Fantastic image Isaac - The textures in the rock, the colors and the dreaminess of the waterfalls are all great. Great exposure choices for the waterfall. I've yet to capture flowing water with tripod and slow exposure, but hope to achieve an image like this someday. |

Bruce,
This is a stunning image. I had to study it for a while just to understand what it was depicting. You're so lucky to have witnessed this!
Hope you have a wonderful trip to Sitka and I'm looking forward to seeing photos from that trip. |
