15 Jan 26 Comment Oh fascinating - this is a new bird for me! Such a lovely one! I like your crop and the reflections, Gloria! One thing I see over and over in competitions - is judges looking to see eyes - and catchlight in those eyes. If you use Lightroom, I would suggest you SELECT SUBJECT, then lift shadows in the dominant bird it - if you can. Then use BRUSH tool, sized to fit eye on dominant bird, and lift shadows (and exposure) a bit in Lightroom Classic. I'm tied up with a tight work schedule this month but will try to submit a suggested edit for your consideration. Jan 5th
