Hi Adi - Apologies for attributing the wrong PSA Journal article to you - I meant to commend you for your article "Human Side of Trees" ~ PSA Journal April 2025. I especially enjoyed your Romanian tree images.
Your B&W version has not yet posted in Group 83, but I also could envision this as a good B&W.
I love this tree in silhouette. For your consideration, I've suggested a somewhat tighter crop from the top and bottom to draw viewers to more closely focus on the relationship between this majestic and resilient tree and its surroundings. I also removed one light flower(?) at lower left and slightly lightened and de-saturated the foreground. |

Lovely image, Barbara. For your consideration, I've suggested a slightly tighter crop up from the bottom, to give viewers a more intimate view of the S-curve and golden foliage. I also removed what appears to be a stick poking into the water in the bottom left quadrant, at the upper side of the river bank. |

Bill - I believe you've achieved your spooky, Halloween-themed image alright! I can almost hear a little wind lightly rustling those leaves, and expect to see a witch on a broomstick in the sky. I thought of suggesting you slightly soften the moonlight effect across the front of the building and add a very slight illumination to the main tower, but when I test-drove that look, your image seemed to lose a bit of spookiness. Nice one - worth all of those layers! |
