I played around with your image and thought I would share what I came up with- though I could find my angel decoration to get some wings from for the woman falling "from heaven". I added a slight gaussian blur to the background and repositioned everyone's head so the angel was more in line with the woman. I also made the image of the woman slightly smaller. |

You can download brushes from Photoshop. The trees are created from brushes called "concept" brushes. You can also create your own brushes. (see comment I left for Bob Wills) Brushes are soooo much fun! |

Thank you Bob for your comments. Being new to the group - I'm not sure how much anyone plays with all the tools in photoshop - but I spend a-LOT of time going down rabbit holes when i get on YouTube. I love to learn and love to experiment with different settings. That being said... brushes are one of my faves! Photoshop has a lot of brushes and I also make some of my brushes. The trees are made from brushes - they are called "concept" brushes. Concept brushes offer all kids of shapes. But you can also use your images and turn them into a solid black image and then create a brush. |

Thank you for your comments. When I work on this again I will try to find a wreath and will definitely crop the clouds! |

Thank you for the "warm" welcome! The trees and snow are actually brushes- are those allowed here? Thank you for your comments- I'm looking forward to reworking my image with your suggestions. |

Compositing is nicely done. I had to look several times to see what was added because it all blended in so well. |

Excellent job on selecting your subjects and removing them from the background. I feel the textured background is a little distracting. In my opinion I think reducing the size of the crowd so they fit into the image and then try a sketch effect on the crowd and woman. For me a slight sketch effect would blend with the background. Perhaps angel type wings on the woman. |

I personally would not change a thing. My initial thought was this looks like an impressionist painting. For me, the blue area reminds me of a surfers wave that leads the eye into a swirl of beautiful colors. It has texture, movement and bright colors. I can see this on canvas. I never studied art but during the pandemic I discovered an appreciation for art/abstracts. By trying different settings and ways of editing in photoshop I've learned a lot about the many photoshop tools and love to create abstract images. |
