I keep coming back to look at this frog. I have never seen one like this. I played with it a little, darkened the whites slightly, lightened the darks slightly. I brightened the eye and added a slight vignette. I think these very small changes made him pop a little more against the background. Thoughts? I'm here because I am very unsure of myself, but I love playing with other's images. Hope you don't mind. |

The detail in the scales is beautiful. The banana leaf is a great idea, I might have to borrow that idea! Crop is perfect with the head in the bottom right third. |

Thanks for all your suggestions. I decided to try adding a little more sparkle and sun flare. Too much?

I tried some of your suggestions. I added some highlights in the ice, and a very subtle sun flare. I also brought down the contrast in the background and blurred it a very little bit more. Thoughts? I'm not sure which one I like better. |

Amazing shot. Absolutely beautiful. You can see the eyes, which is always a bonus. My only suggestion would be to darken the bright green leaves on the left, and the tiny ones on the right. Just so they don't distract from the main subject. |

Beautiful bird, I love the colors. The eye is nice and clear, and the feathers well defined. I played around with it a little. I increased the contrast on the bird. I cropped the right and the bottom. I also darkened and blurred the background so the bird would pop a little more. Not saying it's better, just some ideas. |
