Thanks so much, Sarita! I was happy that my persistence paid off and the "expression" of the fish was definitely a bonus for me. |

Thank you Peter. This was handheld. I use a 2x TC most of the time. The Sony 300mm lens is outstanding glass. I have never had any issues. I only use a 1.4 TC or just shoot without if the distance dictates. The lens is also lightweight which I truly appreciate. My 209-600 has stayed on my shelf as a result. |

Lovely colors, textures and composition foreground to background, Leslie. The weather is certainly showing extreme patterns everywhere. Hoping you get some rain soon. |

Definitely a beautiful scene, John! Love the composition with the leading lines and the colors. I appreciate your explanation of lighting adjustments. Something I want to get better at. Your shot is perfectly balanced from my perspective. |

Wow! A perfect capture of a unique and beautiful eagle in challenging conditions. The snow flakes add the perfect effect. That must have been an incredible trip. |

Gorgeous moth! You sharply captured his beautiful colors to document the unique beauty of this insect. My first reaction was to suggest you tone down the light a smidge on his head but the more I look at it the more I think it's perfect as is. I have not seen a Lunar Moth in person. Thanks for sharing! |

This is lovely Sherry and if ethereal was the goal you surely captured it. Such a wonderful time of the year for us bird lovers. |
