Thank you, Sherry! Very much appreciate your comments. I think I will feel more confident entering this in a local photography club competition. |

Boy is that interesting! Well balanced, nice foreground, middle and back. Sharp. Love it! |

Lovely shot! The only thought I have would be to crop the sky down from the top to just above the top left clouds. My eye goes to the sky instead of taking in the whole landscape. |

I tried several times to get a photo of a scrub jay. Great shot and the info you provided is very interesting. Love the bokeh. I agree with Leslie, suggest removing some of the extra "scrub" at the bottom and maybe cropping down from the top just a little. |

What a great find and nice shot! Like the lighting coming from the side. I can't think of anything needed as it's great as is. If you want to play with some other perspectives, I would probably crop a little on the left - just because I have been brainwashed on the rule of thirds! Also, would remove the stray grasses immediately to the right of the owl's face but leave the green top right. Just some thoughts. |

That's great Sherry! I see them all the time in the lake behind my house. As you say, they are both lightening fast and unpredictable in their movements. Nice catch getting him with a fish. Love the water droplets too. I use the a1 with the 200-600 but am looking at the 300. Have read great things and your post may have convinced me. |
