Thank you for commenting. The yellow grass and flowers are actually pretty much that color; I just added a tiny bit of saturation with the original image shot in raw. I think the late afternoon sun brings out the yellow colors more. I agree with you that maybe I did overdo the sky a little bit when I adjusted the blue in the color mixer in Lightroom. |

Thank you for commenting. Maybe I should say this is taken in the late afternoon/early evening around 6ish. It was August and the sun doesn't go down until around 8 or so. So it was really naturally this bright. |

The Yellow Mountains are indeed photographers' paradise; I've seen many striking photos of this place. Your photo captures a very classic scene of the mountains with clouds shrouding the mountain tops and valley, creating a ethereal feeling. I find myself liking your original image more though; the composition is more interesting and appealing to me. |

Very nice image with the dramatic clouds and their reflection in the smooth water. the mist coming off the lake surface kind of gives it a sense that you are right there in the scene. Well done. |

Nice photo. I like the contrast you created of the little girl and the tall palace; the two people at the front door also gave a sense of the scale of the large palace front. |

I liked this photo at first glance; it captured a peaceful scene in a quiet countryside somewhere with the beautiful green foliage; the turning wheel and the silky running water breathe life into this photo. However, as I looked at it more, I felt the composition is a bit too busy for me, the cascading water, the barren tree in the foreground, the turning mill, the old house, and the greenery in the background, I'm not sure which one is the main subject. |
