71 Sep 25 Comment This is a lovely garden. I've been there a couple of times myself. I can see why you wanted to capture all the beautiful flowers and the lush green in one image. It's hard to decide what to focus on when you are presented with such grand beauty. Sep 17th
71 Sep 25 Comment This is a very nice travel photo, well composed. The reflection of the buildings is really nice. Sep 17th
71 Sep 25 Reply Yes, I agree with you. like the saying goes " Photography is the art of subtraction", We need to strive to make a conscious choice as to what to include in the photo that's meaningful. Sep 17th

71 Sep 25 Reply Thank you for your comment. I removed the small center tufa in PS. The image looks cleaner. But I also like the center tufa being there because to me, it sort of serves as an anchor to balance the image to the left somewhat. Sep 17th

71 Sep 25 Comment A lovely photo with good composition. I like the tranquil feeling. To me, the blue in the sky looks a bit artificial. Sep 13th
71 Sep 25 Comment Very colorful image. I like the details on the buildings. I also like how the red car echos the other bright colors in the photo. I personally would wait for the person in blue to pass and then take the photo. If he was sitting down drink some coffee or reading a book, that's a different story. Right now looks like he's just passing by, it seems a distraction to me so big and so close in the foreground. I feel like the two people sitting on the left side and the people in the distance add enough human element in the scene already. That's just my preference. You may have included him like that intentionally. Sep 10th
71 Sep 25 Comment This is an interesting image, almost comical :) I have not seen a goat standing on it's hind legs like that. Yeah I think this photo would look better if the goat's face is not hidden. Sep 10th
71 Sep 25 Comment Beautiful scene and great composition, well captured! I've seen photos of this place with mist around the mountains and always wanted to go there. When I first looked at the photo, I thought it was a bit oversaturated too, the purple clouds caught my attention and the greens look a little bit too green, maybe it's the color of your Fuji film camera? I'm not familia with this camera; I wonder how it would look like if you desaturate it a bit. Sep 10th
71 Sep 25 Comment Thank you Mike, Michele and Tom for your comments. Tom, I'm glad you like it.

Mike and Michele, my intended main subject for this photo is the beautiful clouds and their reflections in the water. Even though there are no tufa on the left side as an obvious element to balance the image, but I feel the large area of red clouds and their reflection as well as the distant mountains(like Tom mentioned) serves as a way to balance the image.

Michele, like you said, it would be ideal to have some more space on the right side so that the tufas are not too close to the edge of the image, but like I said in my description, the clouds turned red unexpectedly and I was scrambling to find a composition that worked before the red color faded. Besides that, I framed the photo this way as to include some negative space in the photo to evoke that tranquil feeling. I also wanted the large area of smooth water to contrast the roughness of the tufas as a way to create some dynamics in the image. I could have used a shorter focal length so there would be more space on the right side of the tufas, but I didn't want to zoom out too much because then the tufas would be too small and the even smaller birds on the top rendered hardly visible. I wanted to include the birds to add a touch of liveliness to the scene.

Nonetheless, I appreciate all your commenets.
