Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
71 May 25 Reply I also cropped a little on the right side. I struggled with the decision because I like the evening light on the dunes on the right side. What do you think? May 23rd
71 May 25 Reply Hi Tom, here is my edit. May 23rd
71 May 25 Comment I think this is a very good monochrome image. It evokes a mysterious and eerie feeling May 21st
71 May 25 Comment Very cute goat, looks like it's trying to communicate with us indeed. May 21st
71 May 25 Comment Did you adjust exposure globally on this image? I like what you did with the lighting on side of the house; it's more dramatic. However I like the statue in the original file better because it shows more depth with just one side of it lit up; the statue in the final image looks a bit flat, lacking depth/dimension. May 21st
71 May 25 Comment Very nice image with good composition and dramatic clouds. I agree with Mike that the red roof adds a special punch to the scene. Good work! May 21st
71 May 25 Reply Thank you for your comment; I like what you did with the dehaze. I took John's suggestion, decreased exposure a bit on the sky with a lightroom mask and then did the same with a linear gradient on the water, and that achieved basically the same effect as you did with the dehaze. I wanted to show the photo, but I can't upload it because it exceeds the 1MB file size for comment photo May 21st
71 May 25 Reply Thank you for your comments. I appreciate it. May 13th
71 May 25 Reply Thank you for your comment. I left the people in the background intentionally because I want it to be a candid shot. I think cloning out the people would make it look more like a "staged" travel photo. May 12th
71 May 25 Reply Thank you for your comment. I darkened the sky and the water a bit, and it does look better, less stark. I thought about replace sky with some clouds, but that will involve adding cloud reflections in the water too, and I don't know how to do that yet. I know you can do it, just haven't had the time to learn it yet. I'm pretty new to PS. May 12th
