I also cropped a little on the right side. I struggled with the decision because I like the evening light on the dunes on the right side. What do you think? |

I think this is a very good monochrome image. It evokes a mysterious and eerie feeling |

Very cute goat, looks like it's trying to communicate with us indeed. |

Did you adjust exposure globally on this image? I like what you did with the lighting on side of the house; it's more dramatic. However I like the statue in the original file better because it shows more depth with just one side of it lit up; the statue in the final image looks a bit flat, lacking depth/dimension. |

Very nice image with good composition and dramatic clouds. I agree with Mike that the red roof adds a special punch to the scene. Good work! |

Thank you for your comment; I like what you did with the dehaze. I took John's suggestion, decreased exposure a bit on the sky with a lightroom mask and then did the same with a linear gradient on the water, and that achieved basically the same effect as you did with the dehaze. I wanted to show the photo, but I can't upload it because it exceeds the 1MB file size for comment photo |

Thank you for your comment. I left the people in the background intentionally because I want it to be a candid shot. I think cloning out the people would make it look more like a "staged" travel photo. |

Thank you for your comment. I darkened the sky and the water a bit, and it does look better, less stark. I thought about replace sky with some clouds, but that will involve adding cloud reflections in the water too, and I don't know how to do that yet. I know you can do it, just haven't had the time to learn it yet. I'm pretty new to PS. |
