Very dramatic image. I like the contrast between the smaller hills and the majestic mountain behind. I agree that the lighter element on the lower left corner is a bit distracting, maybe make it a little darker like John suggested or remove it. Tom, I hope you don't mind, my personal feel with your cropping is that it feels a little tight now without some of the sky on the upper left side as breathing room. |

Thank you for your comment. I know nothing about the boat, just thought it's a nice element for the image. :) I have other images with a coast guard ship in it as well, but thought the single boat conveys the mood better. |

This is a nicely composed image with symmetry, has a very balanced feel. I like the warm tone of the temple and the lights on the bridge. The sky has a nice color, but otherwise a bit bland with no clouds. I would consider maybe cropping it just a bit. |

Thank you for the suggestion. You are right, the image improves without the lights in the distance. I was being a little lazy thinking they are too small to notice. :) |
