Wonderful image, Butch. The one rider is silhouetted while the details in the front rider adds to the authenticity, ie the rope, buckle, chaps. The dust and the filtered sun make the image with that lighting. Well done. |

This is certainly an interesting structure with some sort of story to tell. I don't get a particular idea of what the story is you're trying to convey. If it is near by, perhaps approaching it at a different time of day may highlight more of the house and the decaying features. The distorted angle of the tree on the left is distracting for me. What is it about this house that interests you? What do you want us to see or feel? |

I tend to enjoy a story capture like this one. I like the lighting on the left hand horse's mane and tail. The dust up adds to action implied in this photo. The limit of space on the right probably forces you to crop in a little more on the left as well to balance the space. As others mentioned, bringing up the shadows may add to detail. |

I do like the swirling yellow at the surface as well as the Tangs. I had the pleasure of snorkeling on Maui last year and loved all the colors of the fish. I often prefer a tighter crop. You have probably tried many different adjustments. Perhaps a little less of the darkness below and above... |

A very nice candid shot. Good close-up action shot for 25mm. It is challenging not to have a busy background at a fair. The yellow "carriage" holds one's attention to the girls. Perhaps tone down the upper left, as Barbara mentioned, |
