super spooky!! Looks like a fun image here are a few points that I think might make it better.
1. the stars for me look too perfect and mostly the same size. when you look into the night sky...they all vary in size
2. Stars also look as if they may have been overlayed. and appear to be extended into the foreground...as I can see them into the grass..
3. upper tree limb right seems to have the moon in front of it...could be easily fixed in Photoshop. |

Sorry still seems over sharpened...Topaz might be the issue. when I look closely I can see a white ring around the bird and some pixelation. I used to use different sharpening tools like Topaz and NIK, and have found them useless. Have you used the new Lightroom Classic...that's my 100% go-to. |

I think maybe a bit over sharpend, the feather tips seem pixilated. Great work! |

Pretty dang cool...lots to take in here! My only suggestion would be to eliminate or blur the trees..just above the gas cap..overall great shot |

Gordy Here from DDG 25...I'm impressed with your settings and what it must of took to get this image. A lot caught my eye with your image. The modern junk in the background and the reflection from the sign is a bit of a distraction. I performed a small crop, to eliminate the busy background and toned down the sign a bit using Lightroom. Great work! |

Hi there Gordy visiting from DD 25...I always felt black and white, can add a huge amount of drama to sports scenes. This is one of those examples..you turned up the drama x10. This reminds me of the earlier days of boxing, dimly lit and hazy rooms. You have totally nailed it, my friend. Black and white was an excellent choice |

Very cool..I like it a lot and taken with an iPhone! With it centered like this, I think some dark corner vignette on all four corners would help lead the viewer's eyes to the center.
Awesome work Mahalo Gordy |

Interesting image..I am first drawn to the person walking the path. Was this a midday photo? Lighting to me seems a bit harsh. In hind site, I think maybe lower ISO next time. Seems a little over-sharp? I would also try to remove the green plant in the lower right, not initially distracting but did get my attention perhaps clone stamp or crop it out. Great fall image Mahalo Gordy |

Brian - wow! I think you nailed it! I like the lighting and tones just enhance the image. Your model is perfect and very natural-looking. Just some amazing work here...as an aspiring black and white photographer myself I hope to learn more. |

Great photo! When I first looked at it, my eyes followed the tracks then to the overpass, the intersection, and the train below. All of this makes this a great image...it looks to me like you had to make several adjustments, that maybe you can tell us about. My only issue is, maybe turn the red down a tiny bit..Mahalo Gordy |

Thanks....I took it back to light room, and did find that masking the cables and selecting the defringe slider made a difference. The sky was also fixable. But in the interest of making it better I will probably start from scratch. My hope is to have this as one of my state fair entries next year..Thanks again for all your help its really appreciated..Mahalo Gordy |

thanks for the kind words! I'm a bit of a rookie with Lightroom and the Sky Mask option, I like it a lot, but also now see I may have to be a bit frugal in its use. I'll try the de-haze as well Mahalo Gordy |

Great photo...I think I would have went for a landscape went crop. And worked on the exposure and highlights? Perhaps in light room.
Had you waited a few minutes you would have lost your sun, but I would recommend visiting the same beach, when there's less cloud cover and re-shoot your photo when the sun is more on the horizon or close to it...keep up the good work Mahalo Gordy |

Great ICM shot! Not sure, I get the sense of speed, feels more like an explosion. This image might be good fit for the creative group. Keep up the explosive work ! |

Great capture....lucky you! I think I would have found a way to eliminate the rock to the left...its a bit distracting and maybe bright the image as well. I think had the kayakers face been visible it would have helped to sell the photo. |
