Great photo. The lighting is very even and the colors are vivid yet very natural. I would love to get a photograph of some owls - any owl actually.

I like the Captain. The rigging in the background is nicely blurred and really adds to the story. The photograph wouldn't be the same without it. I think the end result was definitely worth the effort. |

Hi Sarita,
I don't think the bird's beak, eyes and feathers could be sharper. I like how he is positioned in the frame and amongst the leaves. His coloring is beautiful. The background bothers me some but overall it is a great image.

Interesting and unusual image. I like the composition and the curves in the vine and their contrast with the black twisted fence. The flower stands out well.

Hi Keith,
What a fun and worthy project. I have some old photographs to restore as well. Have you considered a sepia similar to the original? The black and white, for me, is a bit harsh. The scratch marks are a bit distracting but I'm sure they can be easily removed. |
