Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
16 Sep 25 Comment I really like the pose you've captured, and the model's downward glance adds a gentle, innocent quality to the image. Sep 21st
16 Sep 25 Comment Converting the image to black and white was a great choice, as it minimizes distractions and helps unify the scene. That said, I think the photo could benefit from a bit more contrast or "pop," since the tones feel a little washed out, particularly with the gray sky. The lone figure at the end of the alley provides a natural focal point, but he does get somewhat lost among the surrounding clutter. Cropping in a little tighter might help draw more attention to him. I've attached a version where I increased the contrast and adjusted the crop so you can see one possible approach. Sep 21st
16 Sep 25 Comment Your image tells a powerful story, making it a strong example of photojournalism. The installation of portraits set against the backdrop of the Capitol creates a compelling visual statement. It might also be interesting to see a black-and-white version for comparison, as that could bring out a different mood and emphasis. Sep 21st
16 Sep 25 Comment The depth in your image really stands out, with the distant mountain range adding a beautiful backdrop and contrast to the two steel structures in the foreground. I especially like how the expansive landscape enhances the sense of scale. Between the two versions, I prefer the original, as the inclusion of the full scene gives greater weight and presence to the large steel structure. Sep 21st
16 Sep 25 Comment I really enjoy the way the three boats are staggered across the frame - it naturally leads the viewer's eye from left to right and adds a strong sense of motion. The palm trees in the lower left corner and the row of spectators along the top work beautifully as a natural frame, keeping the viewer's attention centered on the race itself. Altogether, it's a well-composed and engaging image. Nicely done! Sep 21st
