I really like the post processing on this image. The light on the leaves makes them the clear focal point. The tree roots create a strong leading line toward the leaves, so I wouldn't darken them any further. However, you might consider darkening the tree behind the leaves to help keep the viewer's eye focused on them. |

Your subject has a lot of character in his face, which makes for an engaging portrait. He's well lit, and I like his pose. You did lighten the background some, but it still feels a little busy to me. |

You weren't too far from where I live! Nice job recovering the sunflower in shadow during post-processing. That said, the overall composition feels a bit busy to me. |

The model's intense gaze is very compelling and immediately draws the viewer in - she's clearly the focal point of the image. You've done an excellent job handling the bright background in post-processing; it's well balanced and doesn't distract from the subject. |
