Chris - thank you for your observations. I will try to move up the people a bit so see the effect that creates.

Chris - I think you have documented very well the making of what is a highlight of eating in a Chinese restaurant - the fortune cookie.
I also felt that aligning the top of the sign would provde more balance.
Well done

Adrian - thank you for your comments and suggestion. I definitively feel that a panoramic format does fit the composition.

Thank you Emil - I actually tried to maintain proportions between the people and the height of the underpass. I assumed that the height requirements for the underpass is about 16 feet. The heights of the people sitting down is about 3 feet.
Certainly though playing with the size of the people would give a different aspect.

Mark - thank you for passing on the valuable advice. I feel though that your image provides an interesting contrast - the walker on his phone seems to be in a hurry - the person who put out the laundry is not.
Cheers

Pete - you have well documented what is probably the most admired, cherished and well known landmark in town. You can see that the citizens are proud of it and have installed markers to point out the significance of the courthouse and its history.
Your high quality treatment of the image contributes to express to the viewers that the courthouse has significance.
Cheers

Adrian - I also tend to photograph ladders, safety equipment and moorings located on docks ( the last time was Feb 2, 2026 ) - I am usually drawn by the fact that they are painted yellow which contrasts with the blue of the water.
Your processing also brings out the minimalist aspect of the resulting composition. And I agree that basing the crop on the center bolt on the plate ( and center of the ring ) being exactly in the middle gives a balanced feeling.
One comment is based on the fact that the last shadow on the right corner pulls the eye out and away from the image. I took the liberty of attempting a different crop.
Regards
Mike

Kamal - very impressive image, well composed and that tells a fascinating story about the activity on the river which you were able to capture from a unique perspective.
I actually prefer the crop of your original image as it provides more context about the location and the purpose for the boats being there.
Cheers

Emil - congratulations on another amazing image. I think you have mastered the use of IR to bring out the essential details of landscapes. I like the way the green of foliage becomes desaturated and lightened and the light is filtered.
I am curious - did you win the contest with the original color image or the B&W? While both versions are impressive and outstanding I feel the original draws me in more ( maybe it's the crop ).
Cheers
